This series provides answers to the ten most common objections directed at Christianity, and includes the following questions:

1. If God exists, then why does evil exist?
2. How can a loving God send people to Hell?
3. What about those who have never heard about Jesus?
4. Isn't Jesus just a copy of other pagan god myths?
5. Hasn't science disproven the creation account in Genesis?
6. What about all the other 'gospels' of Jesus?
7. Isn't the God of the Old Testament a ruthless and cruel tyrant?
8. Isn't Christianity demeaning to women?
9. How can there be only one way to God?

This series uses a methodical approach to examining all the major world religions and belief systems to determine which one is actually true and valid.

John Hannah asks the very thought-provoking question, "How can you live out your faith if you don't understand it" in his book "Our Legacy", which chronicles the historicity of the Christian faith.  Christians are asked by Christ to be a light and witness to the world, but today, few Christians really have a strong grasp of the foundations of the Christian faith, and even less know how to defend that faith in a world that has always been hostile to the truth of God.

This series uses the Apostle's Creed, a statement of faith made by the early Church (about a half-century after the completion of the New Testament), to walk through the foundational beliefs of the Christian faith, with a modern-day defense for each particular doctrine being presented as well.

The only Man to die, go into the grave, walk back out, and stay that way is the same Man who had the higest possible opinion a person could have of the Bible - God's Word.  He - Jesus - called it "truth". In a world that considers truth a relative concept, that's a pretty radical claim.  But Jesus didn't stop there.  He also claimed that the Bible is divinely authoritative, is unbreakable, has ultimate supremacy in life, is without error, is supernatural, and is historically accurate. Was He right?

This series examines the Word of God and explores Jesus' claims, addresses criticisms of the Bible, and offers insight into the science of Biblical interpretation. Click HERE to get the presentations and other materials for this series.

It's sobering to think that as early as during the time of the apostles, false teaching in the Church was raging. Paul and Peter specifically sound the alarm in their letters as does the author of the second to the last book in the Bible, which is Jude. Jude had intended to write one letter to his readers, but the Holy Spirit intervened, and he ended up writing a much different letter - one that strongly urged those in the local church to contend earnestly for the one true faith.  The reason? Apostate teachers had stealthily slipped into the body of Christ and were polluting the truthful teaching of God with sin and lies. Sadly, nothing much has changed since then. Today, the Church is assaulted with heresies from both outside and within, and Jude's warnings are every bit as applicable today as they were in the first century.

This series performs an expostitional examination of the book of Jude and supplies teaching to help modern day apologists, evangelists, and lay Christians defend the faith and recognize apostate/false teachers. Click HERE to get the presentations and other materials for this series.

When questioned by the disciples on the Mount of Olives as to what the signs would be that would signal Christ's second coming, Jesus repeated only one sign twice times - the appearance of false christs:

" And Jesus answered and said to them, "See to it that no one misleads you. "For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. " (Matthew 24:4-5)

"Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe him. "For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. Behold I have told you in advance. So if they say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out, or, ‘Behold, He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe them. "For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be. "(Matthew 24:23-27)

This series performs an examination of the false christs that have appeared - the counterfeit christs of false religions, the cults, the occult, humanism, pluralism, and the ultimate counterfeit yet to come - the Antichrist. Click HERE to get the presentations and other materials for this series.

There is one way to completely destroy Christianity: Produce the body of Jesus Christ. Without the resurrection of Jesus, Christianity crumbles into nothing. The Apostle Paul admitted as much when he said, “and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are of all men most to be pitied. ” (1 Corinthians 15:17–19)

This being the case, it stands to reason that the enemies of God work overtime to try and refute or cast doubt upon the resurrection of Christ. This series takes an in-depth look at the resurrection and examines why Jesus' bodily resurrection is so critical, dives into the trials, murder, and burial of Jesus, conducts a reconcilation of the Easter account in all the Gospels, provides an apologetic defense of the resurrection, and finally, looks at the various victories that the resurrection of Christ accomplished. There are some 300 prophecies in the Bible that pointed to the first coming of the Messiah, some being spoken thousands of years before the events actually occurred. Every one of them came true in the first coming of Jesus Christ.

The same Scriptures contain nearly 500 prophecies concerning the Messiah's second coming, with literally one out of every twenty-five verses in the New Testament speaking about Christ's return. Given that not one error was made concerning His first coming, what do you think the chances are His second coming will be exactly what the Bible says?

This series takes an in-depth look at the second coming of Jesus Christ and examines all aspects of what the Bible says will happen in the future - a future that could begin to happen as early as the very minute you're reading this.

What is the Emerging or Emergent Church? Many have heard the term but most don't know what it exactly refers to. Is the Emerging Church a return to the Biblical concept of Church or is it instead a movement that has become a victim of the very Postmodern philosophies that it originally sought to save other people from?

This mini-series examines the Emerging Church's leaders and its teachings. It performs an analysis of Postmodern philosophies and demonstrates how they have invaded the Emerging Church movement to create something that is a far cry from what Scripture says the Church should be from a doctrinal standpoint.

By far, the number one objection non-Christians have to believing in God is the presence of evil, pain, and suffering that is clearly manifested everywhere in the world. If God is all powerful, He could destroy evil. If God were all good, then He would want to destroy evil. But evil is not destroyed. Therefore ... the argument goes ... this all powerful and all good God of Christianity doesn't exist.

That's an awfully good argument.

This series examines the issue of evil and looks at both the intellectual questions as well as the emotional side of the problem. In the end, it shows how the argument above can indeed be addressed so that the fact of evil and the God of Christianity are shown to not be contradictory.

The debate has a long history and is every bit as volatile today as it has been for centuries. Where did everything (including us) come from? Surprisingly, although there have been many complicated explanations given, there are only two possible choices: (1) Matter before mind; (2) Mind before matter. That's it.

This series examines the various positions on the origins of the universe and mankind, with the goal being to answer the key philosophical question "Why is there something rather than nothing at all?"

Without question, the most controversial, complex, and emotionally-charged debate in the history of Christianity has centered around how God's sovereignty and human's free will can be reconciled. Is a person's salvation soley a work of God or is it a synergistic partnership? If no one seeks after God as the Bible says (cf. Rom. 3), then how can a person choose to follow God on their own?

This series examines the many topics that concern these issues such as how badly the fall affected humanity, can a person believe in God on their own, who did Christ actually die for, and can a person ever lose their salvation.

Regarding the topic of how to tell if someone is a true Christian, Jonathan Edwards, in his work entitled "A Treatise Concerning Religious Affections, wrote:

“There is no question whatsoever, that is of greater importance to mankind, and what is more concerns every individual person to be well resolved in, than this: What are the distinguishing qualifications of those that are in favor with God, and entitled to his eternal rewards?”

This series looks at the question of what the true evidences of salvation are. How can you tell who is a Christian? Answers are provided from five key passages of Scripture and a tour through Edward's book.

What would Jesus say to your church? Would there be praise, condemnation, maybe some of both? In chapters two and three of Revelation, Jesus dictates seven letters to seven churches that existed in the ancient world. These churches are representative of the churches that have existed down through history, and still exist today in spirit. By studying them, we learn what God values in His body, and also what He hates. Enlightening, inspiring, and convicting . . . the study of these letters reveals many things that every Christian needs to know and a blessing to the one who listens and obeys: “ Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near. ” ( Revelation 1:3 )

On March 15, 2011, HarperOne publishers releases Emergent Church leader Rob Bell’s new book “Love Wins”. The promotional video for the book immediately raised speculations in Christendom that Rob Bell was a universalist, and what has followed since then has been one of the largest theological firestorms in some time.

Bell’s book “Love Wins” and its  accompanying controversy has landed him on Time’s 2011 “100 most influential people in the world” list and also resulted in countless media interviews. Without question, t
he reach of Rob Bell has far outgrown the 10,000+ members of his Michigan Mars Hill church, and therefore it is important we understand what his teaching is in this book, if it either squares with or against Scripture, and how it affects people’s spiritual thoughts and lives.

There has perhaps never been a more confused time in human history when it comes to determining between what is morally right and wrong than the present. The prevailing philosophy of Postmodernism has ingrained a prideful position in many where their moral position matches that of Wicca: "En it harm none, do as ye will".

Yet, there is something deep in everyone that recognizes a moral law that transcends culture and the individual. Do objective moral values truly exist? If so, where do they come from, how are they recognized, and how should they be put into practice by humanity?

“What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us. The history of mankind will probably show that no people has ever risen above its religion, and man’s spiritual history will positively demonstrate that no religion has ever been greater than its idea of God.” - A. W. Tozer.

This well-known statement from Tozer has proven itself true time and time again. Terrorists believe their god wants them to kill others not in their faith so they fly planes into buildings. Far eastern monks believe that by starving themselves to death they will break their cycle of karma and enter into a state of bliss with their god where they become part of 'it'. And Christians say they want an intimate relationship with God, but most have never undertaken a study to understand God's nature and attributes. Without that knowledge - the knowledge of the Holy - it's impossible to have such a relationship.

“What exactly is "Christian Apologetics"? Why should anyone believe anything ... at all? Is belief in God rational and reasonable? Why should we believe what the Bible says about Jesus? How can there be a God when there's evil in the world?

All these topics and more are tackled in this systematic study of Christian apologetics that is tailored for both believers and unbelievers alike.
